vtgsd - you didn't actually say which you wanted it to be !
Sod's Law almost guarantees if you want him to be a L/C
he probably won't be; or vice versa.
Never mind - good luck with the pup, have fun.

I can't wait to see all the color changes that pup will go through~!!
Have fun with the little guy and keep us updated.
What is his pedigree?
Something points towards your pup being a LC!!!
Do you have any pictures of his littermates?
My LC "Oeht" as a baby, then all grown....he kinda had wool for fur

Pup below is my regular coated Jutta Hipp girl as a pup, then grown-up, I was wondering if she was a LC....Her & Oeht have same sire,
and their mothers are full sisters;)

Don't see anything that would cause me to think he's a Long Coat or even Plush Coat...I would guess that he's a regular Stock Coat...But it's very hard to tell with some of these young dogs until they mature a little...

For me, this looks like a regular coat puppy.

Can you post pics of him at 2-3 weeks? That's when I can tell. After that, they go through too many stages to be sure until it happens. They can look really normal for a long time and then.......bam! Coated.

Oh my goodness, he is a cutie! and I'd say long coat!
