I bet my first guess is correct, the dam's registration is endorsed and that's why the KC won't register the pups. If the BVA scores meet with the approval of the dam's breeder, I expect the endorsement will be lifted and the litter registered unless it is subject to other criteria. All the guff about registered breeders and Accredited breeders is irrelevent, Uschi, all that is needed to register your pup appears to be being done and hopefully the xray results will be good enough and the registration will be forthcoming. Do let us know how you get on and keep us in on how her training goes.

Sorry Uschi, I read your first thred as your being back
in America already.
Margaret is right about the need for the dam's breeder
to get the Endorsement lifted with the KC - but for that
to happen the breeder of your puppy will have to ask
her, and show not only that the hip scores have
been obtained, but that they are at a satisfactory level
in the Nikonis kennel view; and, presumably, show how
it was that the accidental mating happened.
I think that's probably what your breeder was referring to
when talking about the KC not allowing Registration
without hip scores, as - technically - Ambii is right. They
cannot Register any of this litter until the Endorsement
is lifted, and the Endorsement depends on the hip result.
As you are apparently still here for a couple of years,
you may also like to consider the option of putting her
on the KC's Activities Register. So she can do formal
Agility if you want, and to deal with any objections an
Agility Club or a Schutzhund Club might throw up about her
being an unregistered dog. The Activity Register works like
the AKC's PAL described on your other thred, but dogs on it
DO NOT HAVE TO BE NEUTERED. I'm pretty sure it
would still be possible to change her to a single Breed
Registration once the endorsement is lifted (if it finally is).

I think I remember reading that once a dog is registered on the Activity Register it cannot be transferred into the breed register.

Kaffirdog,
The breeder is still waiting for the hip scores for the dam. Hence, the litter can't be registered at the current time.
Hundmutter,
I wasn't aware that they had anything like the Activities Register. Their website is decidedly unhelpful and not at all informative, at least for what I've been looking for. The AKC's website is so much clearer.
Anyway, I don't think that my pup will end up registered. The breeder doesn't seem interested since she'd lose a lot of money from the reduced price that everyone paid for her 7 pups, and her bitch would also lose one of her 4 litters that she can have. And, she only currently has that 1 GSD bitch.
Shelby had her second puppy class today, and it was the 1st day she's ever done agility. She did brilliantly, and didn't blink an eye when it came to going through the long tunnel (unlike some of the other puppies).

Glad to hear this is going well. Here's the form you need to put Shelby on the Activity Register if you want to. If you are interested in Schutzhund, might be able to suggest your nearest clubs if you let me know whereabouts you are in UK?

Does not appear to be anything on the (very complete) application
stuff linked by Margaret that actually precludes an individual dog
from being taken off the Activity Register again in favour of a subsequent
single Breed Registration being granted.
Unless there is something in the Red Rule Book; in which case it really
ought to be said on the Application form too. I'll have a look & see if I
can find anything further.

Seem's folk could find a way around the 4 litter limit on breeding bitches. Is there really a point to having regulations?
Maybe i am mistaken but i thought someone said accredited breeders followed the guidelines.
Having said that Ushi you were made aware that the litter were not KC Registered? were you?before purchase?
You can do anything/everything on the activity register that you can do if you are on the kc register except show your dog.
Good Luck wishing you many happy years.
