* "It certainly means decommissioning the NRA, to me. I heard that rallying cry, loud and clear. To verify the standing of any of the popular opinion polls, we will have to wait for re-election time. Looks like we are going to have to fight money, with money, on top of everything else." *
-- Ahh Beetwee - you think fighting money with money will abolish the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution and disarm Mr, Mrs and Miss American's ? What the heck are you people smoking !!!
NEWSFLASH -- >> It's America FOREVER !!!

No, see, I don't equate the NRA with the 2nd Amendment. Fatal error of thinking, number one.

by BabyEagle4U on 17 April 2013 - 21:04
By the looks of it you don't equate the second amendment with the bill of rights or "shall not be infringed" either.

I wouldn't trust anything about what you say you see, BabyEagle, not by a long shot!

Bee,
who is the NRA?
Don't be a sore loser.
Slam,
did you really think any of that crap was gonna make anyone any safer, or your job any easier?
Moons.

Moons,
Yes, I am in favor of back ground checks. I am in favor of harsher punishments for gun crimes. They have recently relaxed gun laws here and we see the same guys with guns over and over. I am in favor of closing the gun show loop holes and limiting private sales of guns. I got two dope dealers on Saturday and two guns off the street from two traffic stops. I seize about 4 guns a month on average and very few are from "convicted felons." Yes, I want stricter back ground checks and tougher gun laws.
My next project is to begin to cross reference our concealed handgun permits, hunting licenses, etc with any one convicted of a crime that would preclude them from owning a firearm as well as anyone currently charged with domestic violence. Then I am going to go and seize their guns until their case is ajudicated or they can legally own a firearm again. Legal gun owners and law abiding citizens will have nothing to worry about.

Slamdunc,
And illegal gun owners will have nothing to worry about because they don't have permits and licenses you can cross.

Micaho,
They only and still will be illegal gun owners. That doesn't mean they can't be found other ways. The registries would insist criminals stay identified as criminals and keep legal guns out of their hands. It isn't all that hard of a concept, yet, for many, it is.

Slamdunc,
How do you do a weapons search off of a traffic stop?
