Are those the two dogs in your avatar? I'd be interested in the pedigree on the one on the right if she's the one you're calling a saddle back sable. Do you have any other pictures of her?

Yes.. thats the correct link. I was really inspecting the one I thought was black.. today I see a very faint color on her cheeks... turns out I was wrong!!!! So I don't have a black... but boy are these guys going to be dark!!!

Keith.. hopefully I am not calling my girl the wrong coat type... She is definately sable.. but has a saddle pattern... or am I incorrect..

For discussion purposes, I think sable is sable. Descriptions like patterned, red, etc won't have much to do with it.

Sounds like you then have sables and bicolors.

Budvar Vom Haus Morrisson does not look a definite sable to me, she might be a black/tan. I wonder what Keith thinks as he asked for more pictures !!

Ibrahim, I am curious, too. Aren't there GSL highlines, I think..., in there, sure looked B&T to me. Maybe it is just a paling saddle, but still melanistic B&T, and not sable? I wonder what Blackthorne says.
