Two Moons

by Two Moons on 01 March 2013 - 02:03

So,
there is a book that explains a book, that shouldn't need explaining, and there are other books that contradict your book.

And I should trust someone to tell me which book is true about the truth found in the first book, that is supposed to be absolutely true already.

I dunno know GUY.....(:

Maybe I do need somone to explain it all to me.

Moons you've twisted everything and you know that. It explains the so called things that foolish, atheistic college professors brain wash students into believing, destroying their faith and making them atheists in the process.    Why should those things not need explaining? Considering they are all false claims about the Scriptures, and many false claims from others in general about what else I mentioned was in the book. If you would take the time to read the book you might understand what I mean. It takes maybe an hour and a half to read it.

GSDguy08, what I'd like to know is WHY you seem to think that the perfect venue for you to broadcast your dissertation on the intricacies of 'Revelations' is on a dog-centric website???

Do you also go over to websites which are based upon an interest in Biblical prophecies that is shared by the site's members and use the Off-Topic forums there to expound on your theories regarding the heretibility of work ethic in GSDs, too?

I'm pretty sure that you, gouda and the rest of the God Squad are NOT winning converts with your efforts here...more likely quite the opposite, in fact.

You've made my point so clearly without even trying gsdguy08,
Brain washing?

One reason I used to avoid speaking about religion was my fear of causing someone to lose faith.
There was a guilt of sort.

The measure of a mans faith is in his keeping it, not what's shown to him by others to offer as an excuse.
The keeping or losing of faith is up to the individual.

Not even a foolish atheistic professor should be able to destroy a mans faith.
Not sure what kind of college course your speaking of.

You can't make someone an atheist.
You can't make someone believe.

It comes from within.

hexe, I get on one other forum (on occasion), but I never post on there at all. I just get on there to read things at times (dog related).  As for this board........If I understand correctly isn't the OT part of it suppose to be "non dog" things? At least from what I was told in the past.

Good reply gsdguy08.

I might not agree with what you say but I'm sure as hell not gonna tell you that you can't say it.

by hexe on 01 March 2013 - 04:03

I never said he couldn't say it, Moons.  I just wondered why GSDguy08 and the others are drawn to this particular site to embark on posts about Christianity...just seems odd, since I haven't noticed similar threads being started by practitioners of, say, Judaism, or Islam, or Buddhism or Ba'hai.  That's why I queried regarding whether he participated in posting activities of a similar off-beat nature on websites where threads like this one are the on-topic ones.

GSDguy08, yeah, sure this is the off-topic forum, and consequently just about anything goes [within the limitations of the TOS]...I just find it interesting and rather bizarre that of all the off-topic topics that could arise in this forum, Christian-themed posts seem to be almost as popular a theme as the anti-government ones.  Rarely does the subject turn to, oh, I don't know, ballroom dancing, or bass-fishing or what's the best way to cook a roast beef...

That's all. Just find it odd, and somewhat telling.  Carry on.

Just thought it was worth mentioning that the first page of the Off Topic forum has 4 threads dedicated to the topic of religion. 2 were started by GSDtaravels, 1 by Shtal and 1 by GSDguy08..I mention this because there are very few religion threads being posted IMO. However, I do notice that when they are they get a lot of attention ,,,

I think we've drug up just about everything at one time or another, including various beliefs.

I do think this issue is unique to a certain segment of our society and isn't seen in other beliefs.

I can't see ballroom dancing getting too much traffic, and fishing's only fun doing, talking about it might mean your a redneck, as far as the roast beef I'm thinking Arby's...lol

Sorry if I offended again Hexe, you didn't say he couldn't.
