You know we can talk about this until the cows come home. The facts are:
1. GSDCA-WDA is trying to provide for it's members off of the hard work of another organization instead of making their member clubs do their jobs. ( one of the reason why I left, you can read some stats I posted on other post.)
2. UScA have sent letters and have made phone calls to WUSV Officials with no reply.
Until they get a reply from WUSV I don't blame UScA for not accepting a letter that was sent by GSDCA-WDA. I'm not saying that GSDCA-WDA would lie about a letter but for sure if a full member club of either UScA or GSDCA-WDA ask for clarification on a rule each organization would respond promptly, and so should the WUSV.
So, my question is who's at blame here, GSDCA-WDA? UScA? WUSV? My opinion it's the WUSV, why? Because they can easily contact both organizations and make it very clear........But they have not!

can you tell my why:
GSDCA/GSDCA-WDA scorebooks are sccepted at the WUSV world events?
GSDCA/GSDCA-WDA scorebooks are accepted by all other WUSV members clubs and not the UScA?
The prez of the WUSV is judging a WDA trial in Pheonix this weekend -
(the WDA and GSDCA/GSDCA-WDA scorebooks are recognized or he wouldn't do it)
I'm wondering if maybe someone from the UScA might want to go to that trial with a recording device???? No, I do not know what's going on......but is is interesting.
IMO its not looking good for the UScA and their position.....but I'm sure time will tell.

What you don't understand is, it doesn't matter what other organizations are doing, it doesn't matter what SV judges are judging at a WDA event. What matters is UScA is a full/ and voting members of the WUSV. Your club is about to become a GSDCA-WDA club and I'm sure if you had some issues with another GSDCA-WDA member club concerning the rules you would expect GSDCA-WDA, If you ask for clarification, to give both clubs, or better yet your club a clarification of the rules. Would you not? You would not settle for a clarification from the other member club if there was some kind of disagreement, would you?
Well UScA is in that position! And until the WUSV contact UScA ( I can't speak for UScA, but if it was me) the current situation will be remain the same.

The other thing you don't understand, Kim, is that for the World Championship, the WDA members of the team are not only members of WDA, they must be members of GSDCA, too. (Look it up--it's on the website). Because of the subterfuge that WDA and GSDCA have been using for years, the Europeans don't know the difference. Like "the letter": members of WDA "are deemed to be" members of GSDCA? If that were truly the case, why would aspirant Team members be required to join GSDCA and be members for X amount of time to be eligible for the Team? More disingenuosness. That does not constitute "not looking good for USCA." That looks like the kid who lied about the numbers ( and got caught) before sticking that thumb up there again.
Wouldn't your own club hosting a trial solve your immediate issue?

Here's what you should do.
Enter the trial. Don't bother to send your scorebook to USCA for certification, they have to accept it, right.... Then drive all the way there, spend the night. Show up at the trial with your scorebook. The trial secretary will regretfully inform you you cannot participate in the event with your WDA scorebook, sorry no refund.
You can piss and moan. Tell them they are wrong. You have seen a letter quoting someone else that doesn't make sense but it says USCA has to accept the scorebook because the WDA President himself says so. Maybe you can get a statement from the trial secretary before you are asked to leave or escorted off the property.
With this information, you have just done what the WDA has been hoping someone was stupid enough, Oh, pardon me,,, let me erase that...How about willing to believe their story, that sounds better. Spend their own money and time to be the guinea pig and actually show up at a trial with one.
Just a minute. Your work is not done yet. You have to write a letter and outline the terrible way you were treated at the event. Throw in a few catchy phrases like; I just want to title my dog. Can't we all just get along, and something about playing in a sandbox and it will be just the thing the WDA President needs to go whining back to the WUSV with.
Let us know how it all turns out.
