Two Moons

by Two Moons on 04 February 2013 - 18:02

I did read about the judges decision.
How many stories would you like me to post of a similar nature?

I have a great dislike for the military and sympathy for anyone who get's caught up in it.

Bad choices make for many more bad choices.

I have a neighbor who lost both legs and is living in poverty, wanna help him?
He's just as deserving, maybe even more because of what he gave for his country.
Gave for his country, I find those words meaningless.

Sorry i just can't change the way I feel about begging for money, especially here.

Jag,
do you know this man?

by joanro on 04 February 2013 - 18:02

Holy cow! That's nuts. Poor people don't stand a chance.

The lawyers always win, no matter what the outcome.
That's the system we built.

They built.

Moons, as I said in another post if you do not want to donate or help in anyway, that is up to you. However, to belittle this Soldier's fight just because you have no respect for those that serve their country is selfish and narcissistic.

I myself am a 100% disabled veteran so get over yourself.

I have never met this man in person but I have spoken with him. Not once did he ever solicit donations from anyone. This is by a group of people standing up to try and help him. Military is a family that you will never understand until you experience it for yourself. We stick together and help when we can. Not because we have to, because it is the right thing to do.

Joanro, if you google the history of Utah adoptions, it will make you sick.

Trust me I know why you stick together.

I belittle no one person.

Your right I have no respect for the military as far as what they do, it is not serving this country but yes they serve someone.
But they do not serve us, they are not fighting for our freedom in Afghanistan or in any of the other wars since ww2.

Most of these kids joined because there are no jobs and not much future to look forward too.
They were sold a bill of goods in my opinion, and now they see what that life is really like.

Nothing selfish or narcissistic there.

Like I said best of luck.

Thanks, I'm sure it's not good, but I don't need more stuff to make me sick......as Moons so eloquently says, "burn it all down".

What about my neighbor, you got any spare change?
He has a family too, he served his country.

by joanro on 04 February 2013 - 18:02

Moons, you're absolutely correct in your above post. Without the draft, the military relies on a magnificent, pie in the sky sales pitch to lure unsuspecting recruits. Disposable and easily replaced with more bs.
