Funny how as a firefighter/paramedic I was actually sick less often because I made sure to wash or disinfect my hands all the time, never touched my face until I had cleaned my hands, was careful of exposure, etc. That is the number one way to fight viruses of any kind, hand washing and using alcohol gel if no soap and water is available. Apparently the most contaminated item when people go out is the menu at a restaurant, ewwwww..........

This strain is said to survive on surfaces for weeks and soap will not touch it.
I use 91% alcohol but bleach was the suggested disinfectant to use.
