No but they sure made us wear seatbelts, no? Also you must have car insurance and a good running car. Their are laws and regulations. Your comparison is a lot like your secret sources, crap.

GSD,
they made us wear seat belts, yes the insurance industry mandated seat belts, along with mandating that you must have insurance.
The insurance industry has a very powerful lobby and much financial resources to get what they want.
Now, I wonder why they did that, was it because they care so much for us?
Or was it just their bottom line.
I don't think they've mandated yet that you must have a good running car but they did at one time in some states have vehicle inspections which most states stopped doing.
Fog?
You post this like it's news, accidents happen every second of every day.
It doesn't make a point of any kind other than you read the news just like everyone else.
Surely, you don't think this gives cause to abolish the Second Amendment do you?
Is this what you had in mind when you posted this?
What do you think of the Federal government madating to us now that we must buy health insurance?
Just curious.
Moons.

Can you imagine how high health care is going to sky rocket when everybody has insurance? The sky's the limit. Insurance companies are king.

Since you can be charged with DUI, dangerous / careless driving
etc, the world over - why were people in the above examples NOT
charged with careless/inappropriate weapon loading ? How come
one set of rules for people driving lethal weapons, and another for
those carrying lethal weapons ? Something for the legislators to
think about, since these "duh" moments seem to occur so often ?

I see the informational hyperchondriacs are hard at work. LOL
The cut and paste crowd.
Maybe we should start a thread about everyone who was murdered since 2008 that didn't have a weapon to defend themselves.
Or better yet, a thread of all the people that stopped a violent crime because they were legally armed. I'm sure Oli would have to add more memory just to accommodate those 1,300,000 cases a year.

Oh wait, the media doesn't cover those cases. Because they don't want you to know the truth.
Keep drinking their Koolaid.

"Careless/inappropriate weapon loading" law? That's what we need, more gun laws. There are so many now they can't be enforced. Guess what? Ya can't legislate the STUPID outa folks.

I am starting to realize Ninja, but we aren't going to be friends as this comes to an end are we? You seem to have been the big prize Preston was after. It does kind of bother me that you let him call me names in your name. I'll get over it. Big girls don't cry.... do they?
Carry on. Fire way. It doesn't' matter because your comrades are becoming ineffective with old arguments. It certainly explains the ratcheting nastiness.

I cant stop accidental gun shootings with one sentence, if people would just adhere to it, Whether the guns are loaded or not.
When I get home I'll post it.
Bee, I'll send you a PM later.

You're more likely to end up in the hospital or dead because of a fall than a fire arm. Legislators need to get hopping on outlawing falling.
