I should have clarified my comment on shar pei. I was not referring to any wrinkles, the traditional shar pei has very few wrinkles. I was referring to the structure of her muzzle, it looks like a "bone mouth" of the traditional shar pei. Here in the western world we're so used to seeing photos of the westernized super-wrinkly "meat mouth" shar pei. The traditional asian shar pei looks very different, but is still bred in the US too.
I owned a shar pei once, she was a wonderful dog, wonderful temperament, unfortunately she died young because of a health problem.
Here are photos for reference and comparison to your girl.
These are purebred traditional Shar Pei

The following are shar pei and boxer crosses

Do you see the similarities in the ear set and shape, the muzzle shape, the eye shape and brow of the above boxer/shar pei crosses and your girl

Wow! I think you really have something there. Very similar indeed. Thank you , I appreciate your time.

All the pix of crossed look like Meat mouths, not bone mouths. But the boxer could add to the puff padding. I'm still pushing for not a mastiff type dog at all but a terrier mix. As boxers are still mastiffs. And just looking at those sharpeis is making me itch.
:p

Lol , guess II wont know any thing for sure until she gets older. Im leaning towards some kind of pit mix.

Perezman - me too, just going on your couple of photos.
Over here (UK) its not uncommon to get all sorts of mixes
based on a little Pit AND a little Mastiff. (Result of authorities
trying to ban Pit Bulls altogether, and the more recent
craze for 'designing' anti-social dogs for anti-social youth !)
So depending on where you are / aquired your pup, the
possibility is there that there's some Mastiff of some sort,
in there somewhere. LOL Whatever; sure you'll enjoy your puppy.

Thanks Hundmutter for the input. She's definitely growing on us. She's getting along great with my pitweiler. Theres many areas here in the U.S. where they're trying to pass Breed specific legislation. It hasn't happened here in Texas. Hopefully it never happens here in Texas. I saw a very interesting documentary on Dogfighting in the U.K.. Dogfighting Undercover, you should check it out on YouTube.
