Just go near the prong collars at my house, and I have 5 dogs begging me to put it on them. They know its time to have a blast!

Myself, I would start with a slip chain, Not that I know anything. I would just prefer to start small and if that didnt get the job done then a trainer that could show me the PROPER way of using the prong would be my next choice. Been there done that, lucky I still have a hand to type with.

What is it that a prong style collar does?
If you need this to train you have already lost the argument.
And it is not immediately relevant to the OP's thread.
You have any good advice for the OP other than stick a prong collar on this dog?
