Moons, the biggest threat to the current secret shadow govt and its new stasi type internal security army (homeland security) is the military itself. In the last few months 14 top military brass have been removed over serious fears of coup de etats forming. The current regime even though an extension of previous ones has actually gone off the reservation a bit and has joined a new "third force". This has angered the old guard and these folks have access to all the sophisticated weapon systems, thus folks in the shadow govt are quite worried.
