Aa you should know about nasty people to dampen others spirits. You know nothing about UKC as they LIKE the working type dogs. I know--I show UKC and we have several CHs. It will be ez to get a UKC CH on him once he matures a little more. I think he is noce looking and when he matures out is going to be a hunk. Have fun in the ring with him as I think a well rounded versitile dog is very important.

I was wondering what happened to my post where I asked what the pedigree was on this puppy. Doggoneit12 had posted a link to the pedigree, Now its gone! Why was it deleted?
NEVER MIND ABOVE POST!!! This was also posted on another forum. That is where I commented originally!!

Nice looking workingline boy. I also show in UKC and INTNL shows, and yes it's not hard to get a dog finished in both venues, I like it for the fun/experience on my dogs, all my dogs have their UKC/INTNL champs. PINERIDGE should be ashamed of themselves for the nasty critique, if you have nothing nice to say please keep your comments to yourselves. Congrats on your pups wins.

pineridge - not that i have a clue but i thought shows had categories for puppies and young dogs? mebbe that is what the dog won? whatever, a sable gsd won a conformation title - that in itself should give us all hope that the breed is not lost yet.

haha "One day when you walk off the field with an IPO1 title, that will give you great satisfaction...
I'm not even talking about IPO2 OR 3 only 1. This is where it all starts.
This seperates the "men from the boys" so to say.
an ipo women told me that same thing to when i quit schutshund with my pup. i offered she would like to venture over to my car and i would show her the thing that separates the men from the boys - she declined. guess people that say that cliche are scared of real men.

CMills, good post. Also do you remember a poster on here named Smiley? Anyway she had a black DDR pup that did finish a UKC CH at 6 months old. So it's all possible, just depends on what's entered that day and what the judges see. I like UKC because of the working dog thing. In fact the #1 GSD in the top ten last time I checked is a DDR dog. So doggoneit don't let anyone bust your bubble. Congrats and keep on going for what you know.
I like the UKC shows OK--I've never done the international ones. There is another one sort of like that and when I get the link from my friend, I will share it with you. My friend took her Rotts and got nice ribbons. She said you didn't even have to stack the dogs. The judges there prefer them to stop and stand natural.

vk4gsd - what's u'r reason for quitting SchH now IPO, too difficult...
Perhaps not a quality dog for IPO, don't be fooled...
The Show GSD's, namely the black and tans, are struggling to achieve IPO
AND even if the few dedicated trainers and handlers do achieve IPO, it is with a great deal of sweat and tears...
Easier to appear on Forums and babble away, huh vk4gsd...

Sorry to make this off-topic comment but Aadilah07, you are making some comments on IPO and SchH and men/boys etc. Do you really know what all these mean ? Or are you just pretending to be knowledgeable on these things, while not having much of a clue ? I have seen these sort of comments typically from people who are trying to project way more than what they really know.

ex-squeeze me -- i thought I said i didn't understand how he was standing next to a sign that said "Champion" --
as a working line dog - i think he is quite nice actually -- and in 2+ years he should be quite nice looking. I have a friend with E-german/Czech dogs and i am truly amazed at their movement -- not to mention their trainability and strength of spirit.
I am hardly a show-line snob -- in fact -- I have never entered a dog in breed (until next week) -- for the very first time.
my dogs have letters next to their names like CD, TDI, CGC --- and their pedigrees for many many years had names like Antverpa, Karthago, Furmanshoff, and of course, Kirschental.
i go on record as liking your puppy.
