I took some new pics this evening on pavement. I can make her straight in front, but she actually might toe out a very small amount. Can I hope this will be corrected with age and a more full chest? As it is, it's barely noticeable.

Wowwwwwwww, what can I say !!! She looks much much better in this picture, her underline looks good too, feet, strong pasterns, no doubt front is also clean. She's marvellous, what a beautiful long front upper arm !!!
Is she for sale?
One final note: her croup is short, tailset is good.

Do you mind sharing her pedigree! her front upper arm is incredible.

I envy the work line folks, they get the good showlines as well !!! :)

Thank you! I like her a lot, too. She's my 2nd attempt at a show line, although I actually co-own her with a good friend of mine. She just came to me 2 days ago and it's the first time I've ever seen her in person. My friend doesn't compete or show, so that is what I am for ... although conformation shows are not my forte, but I plan to improve on that.

Here is her pedigree. I'm sorry I forgot to post it earlier.

to improve the stack..........
her hind leg needs to be positioned differently........

while this isn't a perfect stack, notice the lines..........the 2 diagonal lines are the croup and the stifle should be parallel, the verticle lines sould be the thigh and hock bones and should be perpendicular to the ground.

the far back foot should be placed with toes even with the point of the knee........

Thank you Sitasmom!

So, in my latest stack, her front legs are a hair behind the vertical and her hind leg closest to the handler needs to be back more. Correct? Is the hind leg closest to the camera corrcect, or should that also be a tad more stretched to get the thigh more perpendicular?

by SitasMom on 24 October 2012 - 23:10

she isn't stretched out quite enough.

when placing the leg closest to the camera, grab her leg just above the hock and place her foot. keep your hand around her leg until she relaxes.......

the leg farther from the camrea is abour right, but her hock is too verticle.

once you get the close leg set, place your finger on her croup and push down just a bit, see if you can get her lower the back half of her body just a bit.

Thank you! I will try and get the stack improved. All of your help is much appreciated!
