LOL Sunsilver,  it would probably be too hard for me to hide, my writing pattern and opinions on certain subjects are too well known.    If I ever get an ASL, it will be a long time from now, and only if I was really certain that the bloodline didn't have temperament problems, rampant health problems, short lifespans and crazy structure.

I don't think playboy is pure German, but it is possible that he is half WGSL...but that body structure is just a bit too far out for WGSL.  I agree with you about his "pedigree" I don't think he looks like he could have come from that either.

by Blitzen on 12 September 2012 - 18:09

Wow, I guess I shouldn't talk about my ASL here anymore; not that I ever did anyway for obvious reasons. She's 1/4 GSL. Does that vindicate her at all?

That is not Playboy. Have no idea.

Intrepid is where I realized it would be very diffulcult (for me at least) to overcome all the land mines and was the last litter I bred. Her mothers litter sister is the dam of the megaE litter I talked about in that thread.

That is not a flattering pic of Intrepid (puppy class) but as far as show ring, she was a star. 2 major wins from puppy class with BOB over finished champions. Blitzens friend did put her last of 13 at the national thoughTeeth Smile.

Her tail stopped working at just over a year old, as did a litter sister and several dogs today (from one male in her pedigree) show the same trait. And they are several generations removed.

Euroshepherd, don'cha know by now it's ALWAYS the stack that makes the dog look so extreme? Wink Smile

Actually, in this case, it probably is, thought there's nothing that's going to hide those lanky pasterns. But he'd look a lot more normal if he wasn't so horribly stretched, as you commented already.

Blitzen, pay attention to the smilies. As you probably know, we're having a little fun here!

(And you know how much I love my Ursus/Dallas grand-daughter... Teeth Smile )

If you have to have a "mutt" I think the Dallas x Ursus combo would be about as good as it could get LOL.

You won't get any argument from me on that, Blitzen!  Teeth Smile

Rik, Can you or administration 'fix' those pedigrees? My girl was much loved, had 1/4 AmSL in her pedigree, & we saw health issues in her 1 litter of pups, none of which will be bred. I'm trying to trace her history, but there are gaps in her pedigree on the PDB which I am trying to fill---not that your dogs are related, but for those of us on the receiving end of negative genetic traits, it helps to be able to trace an accurate pedigree. Just sayin'! Teeth Smile jackie harris (maybe the comments could still be there?)

jackie, the pedigrees are correct. just some fudging on some accomplishments and a wrong picture.

I may be able to help you on issues in certain lines. if you get that far, pm me.

best,
Rik
