The most recent study on fluoride relied on more than two dozen previous studies documenting the effects of the chemical on the brains. Researchers concluded that future investigations should examine information on exposure by unborn children and neurobehavioral performance.

So, IMO more research is needed.

That is not the end. All the slides of the rodents and the published report is sent to a quality assessment laboratory (this is where I used to work). The QA lab then scours over the original lab's slides and report. Pathologists at the QA lab re-examine the slides and findings. Then, the QA lab publishes its own report on the study and submits it to NIEHS.
That's not all. NIEHS then gathers a panel of experts (scientists and health officials) to come together as a panel. They pour over the original lab's report and the QA lab's report. Then, they vote on the findings and decide if the chemical is safe or unsafe for humans. Representatives from the original lab and QA lab are present when the panel meets to answer any questions and make sure that nothing is misinterpreted or misrepresented by NIEHS. I have attended panels on more than one occasion and can tell you that they last for hours. Intense scrutiny is given and great care is taken to make the best decision possible.

Much of it now comes from China and is even more contaminated. Folks who believe it is healthy for humans in their water are believing propaganda.

If folks want to remain in denial and say the world is flat, that's their choice. But no drug should be imposed on the public when numerous top experts say it is toxic and harmful to one's health or the health of their children. Fluoride has been linked by top medical experts and biochemists to cancer: WATCH THIS SHOCKING VIDEO

It is important for folks to understand that many top officials making these decisions to flurinate public water have been bought off and influenced to take care of their own financial and business interest first before the public welfare.

supplies, or questions about mechanics, profits, etc etc.
But I did think the link to Prozac sounded dubious.

I have been using a reverse osmosis filter on my kitchen water since the seventies. I take multvitamins and minerals to adjust to the osmosis water being slightly acidic and close to distilled water. When I am out and about, I drink the water that is available.
There is no perfect solution. All there is, is risk benefit analysis and compromise.
One interesting observation is that the dogs prefer the water bowl in my kitchen as oppose to the waterbowls outside. They act like it's a treat.
