PAL or ILP, for perfomance events only. I believe the UKC has a similar program and again, they have to be spayed/neutered before you can
register them as such.

You said you got your lil guy on July 17th, and he was 7 or 8 weeks old when you got him.....
So by August 24th (just a few days ago) he would have been 3 months old or 3 months and 1 week old.
So my estimate was right, the photos you show of your pup in your avatar look just fine for 3 months old.
tannish color shading on white German Shepherds is common.
I see absolutely nothing that indicates that your pup is a mix-breed. Size, color, expression all show purebred German Shepherd to me.
Please note that different bloodlines of German Shepherds mature differently, one bloodline's 3 month old pups may look entirely different in size, bone and "puppyishness" than another bloodline's. These are not entirely indicative of what the dog may look like as an adult. Some bloodlines throw huge pups that turn out to be average size as adults whilst other bloodlines throw small or lean pups that are oversized as adults (and other variations) It takes many years of experience in viewing puppies to start to learn about puppy "types"
