I took this pic by myself cause Sam is nine and very well behaved, but this sometimes works
for little pups too if you put them up high they seem to tell themselves, whoa..better just stand here or I'll fall off, also you may want to enlist another person to help you...
Here is Sam & her grand-daughter Suzie, both pics were just me taking them by myself!
You can also get a pole and string a piece of meat off the end and dangle it in front of them, but for that you need to be quick!

One more tip. When the photographer takes the pic, he/she should be on puppy level, meaning you may have
to lay on your belly to get that perfect pic :)

Oh and by the way, your pup looks fantastic!!!

And like Hundmutter says, watch what is in the background!

Thank you.  He has my heart every day.  Rose is coming back into heat (NO, she will not be bred) and a bit grumpy so he comes to me when he has had enough of women bossing him around.  Not to mention, sometime I pull out ice cream and he is convinced the sweeter he is the more likly he will get some.  (can't have it going to his boyish figure though)

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.  I will play around this some more to night.  That distraction thing maybe the perfect solution.

It worked, sort of. Here are some stack pictures of Cirberus. Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Looking good... you're going to need to get down on their level :)

I was about ear level on this pic of 3&half mo. old Samson, but ideally I'd prefer about 5 inches lower, say right at withers level and below the eyes.  If you have a horizon in the background, having it slightly under eye level looks so much better, IMO.

Even "down" pics of Samson's mother at 5&half mo's have more impact, with her eyes above the horizon.

Wow, what an impact Darylehret.  Great pictures all.  I think I need to get "stay" down better for the puppy level pictures.  All they want to do is come to me as soon as I sit down.  I do not even have a chance to get the camera/iPad ready.

I will keep working.

As a side note:  How do the puppies look?  I am not interested in show, so flaws are ok.  My main concern is any physical issues that could be a problem in the future for thier health.  Does anyone notice anything that could be a problem in the future for either pup?

I wouldn't set too much store by comments as these are just pictures and the pups are still very young;  but for my
money they both look healthy and about right bodily for their age, both look bright and alert.  I'd say Max was the
better prospect if you did want to try Conformation Showing;  he has better angles and feet IMO.  Pigment may be better on Cerberus but I'm not sure as her tan bits seem a bit light;  maybe the lighting effect ?  Linda.
