Did I not hear on the news this morning it's over 700 million? Or was I just so tired and out of it that I was hearing things?

SitasMom, when you are losing 1/4 to 1/3 of your power generating capacity to leakage and theft, you will never be able to meet demand.

Yes I believe it is over 600 Million now.

I wouldn't want to be a politician in India right now.

Might be getting a King Cobra for a roomate.

I shudder to think what would/will happen when and if the power grid in the US goes down.  For those of you who think it cannot happen I hate to tell you this but yes it can and much easier than one would like to think.  My husband works in the production and distribution of electricity and he has shown me how easy it could be.  I highly recommend that everyone have some form of stand by power or the ability to generate power of your own.  Generators are made to run on propane and with a large tank you can generate power of your own for quite a while.

I will be the first to admit that I am a bit of a prepper but if the time comes I will be ready and will not need to depend on anyone to provide for me.

last year over 22 power plants were forced to shut down!
its closer than you think..
got a back-up generator, might be a good time to think about it.
