Again, doesnt look like a coat to me- no feathers by the legs... I think he is just plush, not a coat, especially after seeing the body shot. Casey James, my boy is a plush and he had the same furry look as a pup.

go to barrett shepherds and looks through their litters. you will know for sure, you have a cute pup,             but your breeder can't tell.

beautiful pups @marjorie,@EshelmanSchwitz Casey James n Heino r stunning dogs!

I wasnt sure if he was a long coat or not, because the breeder mentioned the sire always producing 1 long haired in a litter, this time the largest in the litter(Rolland). other pups had shorter fur(which I presumed as being the short stock coat), and some pups having longer fur(which he mentioned as being PLUSH, and Rolland being the only long coat, which didnt make much sense to me because he had the exact same length as the plush ones.)
We agreed on Rolland, so he said instead of paying $1500, we'll give em to u for $1250.So I told people my dog was a long coat GSD, which when I started to look/research other longcoat GSD puppies, their coats were different.

I will be interested to know, as he grows up, if he is, indeed, a plush, which I would bet the ranch on... I love a plush coat!
