If I am importing directly for someone, meaning I am buying this dog for them, not just a dog that I am going to resell at a future date, the papers includeing the AKC clearance letter will be in their name, they will get them in the mail from Germany. If they are picking the dog up at the airport the waybill will be in their name, if I am picking it up in my name.
No way after they have paid for the dog do I have any rights to do what I want with the dog unless we had an agreement on breeding ect.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
Conditions of sale were simple. Mr Importer quotes me a price for the whole dog, I transfer the whole amount to him to pay the full price of the dog, plus I pay for shipping from Europe. Then I receive the dog and own the dog.

The dog was picked up at the airport and placed in my kennel on my land.
Hypothetically speaking, in dog world procedure, would Mr. Importer (a person of high reputation in the dog world) have the right to take the dog out of my kennel without my knowledge and take him to another property, where he could hand my dog off to a Mr. Handler (a person then unknown to me)?
Could Mr. Handler then take the dog to another state and hand him off to a Mr. Helper (another person then unknown to me)?
If I then request to get my dog returned, which of the three parties (Mr. Importer, Mr. Handler, or Mr. Helper) is responsible to return the dog?
