The seller should have no reason not to take a camera out to the dog and take pics or ASK the owner , wherever he./she be for more pics showing tatoo and identify

If there seems to be a stall and no agreement to make you see plenty of pics..no one would buy a pup or dog without a whole lot of pics ..
GO to GERMANY and pick up your dog.

Cheaper than a Broken heart ..
I still contend you should buy from breeders you know or that many here in USA in the dog world with reputations on the line know..or

buy locally near you within a 6 hour drive..much easier to go see the dog and check all papers and make sure it is the dog in the ad.

I don't think it's the same dog, the markings are not the same - look at the the black along the eyes on both pictures. I agree that the right ear looks like it is folded over.

Only after super-blowing up the picture can I say I do not think that it is a folded ear, but something in the background. The nose is also not so strong, as the photo suggests, what looks like a slight bump or roman nose, is actually much straighter and refined. Still, as others say, just the unwillingness to provide more detail for the buyer would send the alarm bells ringing for any one who has hung around this dog board as long as I have. Even, maybe as long as Red Sable has been around, too.

i am pretty sure those are two different dogs, first off the first pic looks more hair around the ears and looks young , the other pic is of an older dog and i think its a male, who knows maybe its the pups dad. i would not get this dog not knowing for sure the truth. unless you have some one that you know that can go check out this dog.i am sure you could find a pup like that one here in the USA. there are so many breeders having pups all the time.

LOL.

I can show you lots of pictures that would make people think it's not the same dog when it is. A showline plush coat is not going to look a damn thing like a working line LSC.

And just to play devil's advocate, I never got any pics of Capri before I bought her. Well, I got one tiny (tiny, avatar-sized) picture that was blurry and she was lying in the grass. Could've been a Rottweiler for all I could tell. The first time I really saw her was when she got out of her crate at Lufthansa. Someone not having oodles of cutesy pictures does not always mean they are doing anything wrong.

Ears on a LSC, are ears on a LSC, lines do not matter.

You of course, would know all about breeders screwing people, so it's really no surprise when you defend one. It isn't the first time.

I agree with Greg, does it matter what we think? Personally I'm not convinced they couldn't be the same dog. Goodness knows I can find plenty of photos of my own dogs and have people insisting they are not the same. If there's any reason to doubt, then ask for more proof/clarification or move on...

There are a few on here who's opinions I do respect and care what they think, and I just happen to agree with them.

Personally I see no debate. The dog was passed on, but with regret, as they really liked him.
It really isn't as easy to find a good dog as some may think.

Anyhoo, I told them, I'd pose the question on here and I did.

It's not the same dog

Just pay attention to the muzzle, difference is very clear, though in first pic muzzle is thicker but it's not typey at all. Muzzle in 2nd pic is beautiful.
Pay attention to the stop, difference is obvious, some breeders would show you a picture of a dog and you turn receiving it's litter mate, I still doubt that was done to me, I kept my mouth shut as no one of my friends saw the differences I did see, lol
