"Okay. Nothing for me to gain or loss from posting my obserations. It is exactly that: my observation which I am free to have. Isaid nothing about the dogs or owners not training hard. Just how dogs fly from one placement to the front. Please if you were at the show, then it is ok to oppose my view. If not, then I suggest you need not insult me. Again it is just what I observed. "
NOT OKAY..........
Much is lost from posting such observations......
1. You sully names of the dogs, the owners and the handlers......
2. You make yourself look bad.........
3. Judges will know who you are and that will be to your disadvantage.....
and worst of all.......
4. You keep beginners from wanting to join in....(who whats someone like you talking sh-t about them and behind their backs!) People saying such things keeps memebership in SV clubs and organizations to a minimum......and that's not good for the breed.
A very wise man once told me......
"-You gotta have a dog/bitch
-You gotta work damn hard
-You gotta have a good trainer/team to help you
-You gotta have a good handler
People never cease to amaze me. Super, Super sour grapes."

I showed at my first dog show in 1970 and received the best advice I've heard since - if your dog is crap, everyone is your "friend"; if your dog is competitive, you will have less "friends". Enjoy your competitive dogs.

I must weigh in on Sitasmom's reply to Tracker 1, i for one appreciate everyones opinion whether i agree or not it is good to see that people are calling a spade a spade.I do understand you being angry with Tracker 1.I also am amazed at some Posters bs that someone who posts anonimously has no guts ! Hmmmm you then go on to give a not so subtle threat that " the Judges will know who you are" Kim with that attitude you too are a big part of what is wrong with the UScA !

Dog1 used the incorrect name - Hexe's owner is Kathleen - not Kim (me)...
I don't own any part Hexe or Helga and have not bred any of my bitches to Harley... You have me confused with someone else (showing your ignorance). As far as envy goes, its displaced on me - my pockets were not deep enough to attend this year, eventhough a puppy with my kennel name earned VP1.
I did not comment on any other dog than Hexe, because that is the only one I know the history of. I've watched her mature from 8 months. Kathleen and Hexe have done a very good job year after year and IMO they are deserving of a VA. Had she been in coat and had a more time to prep, they would have place much higher (watch out NASS - they're on a roll).
Marcopolo - funny how you only reserface to whine about politics after the sieger show, and then you're quiet for another 6 months. Talk about poor sportsmanship!
As for Tracker1's identy - check which dogs he's commented on and the identy is not much of a mystery. After the first post, people were calling me in amazment that he could do such a thing.
Randy only commented on Hexe and Yupp!
Everyone knows that there is a degree of politics in every subjective competition, its the nature of the beast. But whining year after year about the same thing really gets old and many of us just don't want to hear it. It just breeds bad feelings. I stand by my comment - this type of poor sportsmanship is ruining SV style showing in America, and if this style showing in America fails, we all fail.

THANK YOU , RANDY and EVERYONE ELSE who has shared and appreciated my triumph's with Hexe. However...one correction: HEXE HAS NEVER FAILED BITEWORK... Helga, her littermate, failed last year because I made a VERY WRONG decision to not handle her in the bitework... Helga was lost and the result was devastating on many levels. However, SHE WILL REDEEM HERSELF.

Sad.. really. I thought that the reason people showed these dogs was for the thrill of competition and the real thrill of seeing really good dogs do well.
I thought it was about the dogs..................................
