this line breeding is great..brandi if you have any clue about breeding malinois its never too close unless your talking same litter brother and sister..some of the best mali's in history were close line breedings

I didn't get the impression from Brandi's post that they were making any statements about line breeding in general, but that Hardy was not recommending this specific line breeding.

The said breeding takes place and will be due first week of next month(October). We will be taking care and observing them carefully starting on day 1 until the time we can evaluate each of them. If we find the said breeding unfavorable, I guess we will be keeping them or within only to our club members.  We are very much aware of any consequences for this particular breeding and we stand and take full responsiblity.

I would start finding some police or prison k9 homes and have them lined up for the pups when they are 14 months.

Be ready to separate them at 8 weeks or even earlier. Lots of socialization. Don't put up with any signs of handler agression even when they are young pups - they can easily and quickly understand a calm voice that says no and a steady hand that gently pushes instead of hits or slaps them. Use lots of food to lure them to do what you want them to do. Reward them for good behavior. Avoid conflicts - don't have stuff out for them to get into, keep them restrained on leashes or in crates/kennels, etc - prevent them from getting into trouble so you don't have to correct them. Expect lots of emotional erruptions until they learn to control themselves. They will react without thinking - may get easily pissed off. Lots and lots of socialization and handling by different people.

Good luck.
