is this pup a long coat gsd? - Page 2

I'm still not totally convinced it is long coated.  I will say it looks kind of curly though.  I have a coated female and she was an absolute ball of fur with just a couple of black eyes when she was little.

Azhar: Is this the same pup ROCKY you posted in another thread? IF so , the side view of that pup has a longer snout and seems to show some long tuffs around the ears//is this the same dog? IF this pups has long tuffs coming from ears bottom and on top and has that longer snout, post a now picture not when puppy...THEY change as they get into the 4th month when is it more evident that the dog is a lc.. THE legs on that first shot of you holding long ways infront of your face shows a lot of log hair up and down legs..is it still like that..??? Will wait for a side view of and front close up.. CUTE pups..and it is fun to try to guess. YR

thanx everyone he is the same pup ill post a recent pic of him he is much diferent to the other pups thanx just need to make sure what he is .

often a good early indicator of LC is hair between the toes on bottom of pad. it appears that this pup has quite a bit. so. I'm going with LC.

put another pic up at 6 mo. and I can give a for sure, 100% qualified, at no charge to you, professional opinon.

no thats not the same pup rocky is a diferent dog i will now post recent pics of the pup at 7 weeks maybe it will help thanx again for the replies...the third pic is the last pup left of litter and some had same coat like his and some bit more plush and the the poster pic i called him rasta people so rasta looks like more diferent hopes this help.sorry if pics not clear using my phone ta.

I have to see his full face looking at the camera...THE long snout the look in his forehead and eye set give the indication you look for..YES  RIK  at 6 months I can guarantee it tooooooo,

YOU have to see full face side view and front looking up not down...

AS IN THIS PIC:
No doubt at the shape of the pie face and the longer shout at 10 weeks old...it is a given when the face changes and the longer not square or rounded nose turns into a longer COLLIE looking feature, it is a long coat as the added heavy tuffs on top of ears and out of ears...MAny of my pups have lots of hair under the head and under the ears and till 10yrs old remain that heavy mane look but the LC is entirely different.

See if you can get some frontal pics if you can... Notice this pup does not have the long hair on tummy or legs YEt><ABOUT  two months later he was full long coat...obvious.

i hope this will do if not ill try and snap up a pic like the one you posted he does have alota hair under his paws thou
