So hows your bitch doing now? Were there any more pups?

Thanks for all your replies, in the end, just after my last post she gave birth to another puppy but it was dead, I tried for a long time to resusitate but no luck. After that she did not have any more contractions and is now calm. I was really torn, having read both of the advantages and disadvantages of oxytocin, and having one experience before when three pups born after the shot all died shortly after birth, though this could have been to a long time without oxygen too. I was also worried about it being out of date. Well, it serves me right for not getting her Xrayed, If I had known it was the last puppy I may well have risked the shot and possibly saved the pup. She was quite big so I thought there would be more, but a lot of liquid seemed to come out. She is quite quite fit and had no problems with her previous birth. My other female is due in about a week, I am going to get her X-rayed today, esp as she needed a C section last time and I don`t think she has got many again, and make sure my vet is 100% available, and I will get new oxytocin just in case....many thanks all of you..
