I think the small females come from Mona Dollenweise.

Vito seems to produce large dogs.

Some of the Tiekerhook dogs that were bred Nick/Yoschy or linebred on Yoschy were small and somewhat fine boned.

And then I have a female who is a Yoschy granddaughter who was 55 pounds/22" inches--she Koered, but I think her size kept her from getting KK1.

bundishep , im not saying eros and como are bad dogs or anything , just saying they are not Tom typical dogs , but then I guess Tom got a lot of his fame ,by these dogs , so it is a matter of what you want , some people want a dog like Tom , some others just want his name on the papers once or twice

duke1965 yes i understand your point you are right some are happy to see Tom once or twice in a ped or dont even care if he shows up at all,i am prob. in the group that goes overboard with him or certain dogs that come off of him,i also like some of the Vito dogs that came thru Tom and so on,I just feel its a shame that its hard to access some of the males that breeders out of the country are able to access more easy unless you are loaded with cash to go get a certain breeding your after.My 2-3 Tom female is by no means perfect but she brings alot to the table that I like to see with working instincts, she is a bit too heavy now I would rather see her in the 60-65 pound range. I have heard of a female from someone else that i believe also was a 2-3 on Tom and he said she was far too dog aggressive.

I'm don't post much, but am interested in learning as much as I can about bloodlines. I wonder if someone might be kind enough to humour me and answer some questions relevant to this topic for me please?

Picking up on the comment that some people want a dog like Tom - what would that be re drives, sociability, biddability, seriousness etc?

What would Tom-typical sons be like? And what is it about Eros and Como that do not make them Tom-typical sons?

What about Vito and Ellute, are they Tom-typical?

Sorry about the novicey questions - everyone has to start somewhere! :)

Tom is a dog I like seeing in a pedigree, but would not be interested in a dog linebred on top....just my personal tastes.

Skilaki's questions are good ones--I'd be interested in hearing the replies.

{"And what is it about Eros and Como that do not make them Tom-typical sons?"}

ronny vandenberghe.  so far, no one has mentioned what set eros and como apart.  their handler.  when a dog is being trained by one of the best in the world, they are not going to be typical.
