Try this. Make her work and think for her food at every meal by stuffing a large Kong with the meal. I love to do this with my pups and gives them some mental stimulation as well as exercise by following it aroung while they try to figure out how to get each bite out. Even doing some light training or come up with a few tricks to teach her now would be great. Sometimes the mental stimulation is even more critical for a young pup than long walks.
