@ GSDPACK working line, @ hexe I am located in South Alabama and I like the German & DDR lines from the info. I have gathered. kitkat thanks once again for the info.and to all the other replies and info. I will dedinitely be looking into the above listed websites listed. thanks for any other info. Thanks!!

If you are going with DDR, check out Rick. i have dealt with him and he is very honest. Another case of no bull crapping around about your shipping,etc.
He deals in fantastic DDR dogs. If he does not have what you want, i'm pretty sure he can help you get it.

I simply stated Vom Anton, is a reputable person. I got a dog from him that was exactly as Rick portrayed her to me. the deal was as easy as going to the local store and buying my goods.
i know of several others that have got DDR dogs from him, and ALL are extremely pleased with the process and their dogs.
So, could you PLEASE clarify your point!

Research and more research no matter who or where you buy from. I've bought dogs from kennels in Germany. Those I dealt with overseas were honest people with excellent dogs.

I have bought dogs from overseas and had wonderful success. I have been screwed over by breeders in the states. Then again, I have met some wonderful people stateside as well. Bottom line, do your homework, research the breeder/broker who is offering a dog you like, and when in doubt pony up some cash to visit the dog in person before making a final purchase decision. There are only a few people in the world I trust enough to buy a dog sight-unseen from. The rest, well, if I am making a substantial purchase investment, really what more could the cost of a plane ticket and a hotel stay add?

It just bothers me when someone insinuates or hints toward something not being right, when I personally know better.
There are enough dishonest people out there as it is without putting a cloud on the honest ones.
