No dog should be bred entirely based on what they ARE, for good or bad, breeding is about the combination of two dogs and considering all the genetic/familail/historical information, to try to produce the best specimen you can according to the norms of the breed. There are times that a NZ dog is a good breeding partner, there are times when an OFA excellent should not be bred.
And if you don't realize these aspects you really shouldn't be breeding...JMO.
