I agree with Moons. There is such a difference in the bond of my first dogs compared to subsequent dogs. The second one (which I allowed to bond with the other dog) is much doggier. Maybe it can be done, but it is much more work. I do spend alot of alone time with the second dog, but it just isn't the same. If it is going to be a working dog, your life will be easier if you limit the time for now.
Just curious about what another dog can teach a pup, (that you'd want it to), that would help with making it a working dog?

It is vital, especially for dogs who go into Schutzhund, to be well socialized, and socialization is achieved at an early age. Socialization is key, and is achieved by socializing your dog with other dogs of different breeds and sizes, as well as in different locations.I do think that your pup should be spending more time with you than with your other dog, mostly because if you got your pup from its litter then he/she will automatically associate with the dog as another littermate instead of making the critical bond with you.
