Your vet should get a lot of credit for the positioning and exposure of this xray.
You should have seen the first set of x-rays they gave me! The patellas were way off-center and the femurs were angled inward. They also labeled BOTH elbows as the left. I complained and they repeated them with proper positioning as I indicated. The second set of x-rays was also on a new machine. Apparently the one they used the first time was not working properly and the contrast was poor, so they had the machine serviced and ultimately replaced. These images, compared to the last are MUCH sharper.
I have another dog to do hip/elbows on and althought ultimately these x-rays are good, the aggrivation of dealing with this hospital is not worth repeating.
