K-9 Specialists????????? - Page 2

My name is Tom Beddor and I live in Minnesota and I have bought a dog thru Petr at K9 Specialists. He was and is a pleasure to do business with!  He is very honest and has nothing to hide. we still talk on a daily basis and I am proud to know him. I got an titled Anrebri dog through him and I was very picky as to what i wanted and she is everything Petr said she was, and MORE!

He was very patient with me until I found this female, we discussed several other possible dogs for my for a period of a few months until I found her, Petr was very helpful and patient with me!

I have been into different working breeds of dog since 1999 and have dealt with numerous breeders, brokers and trainers. I have trained and raised rottweilers and pitbulls and worked many other breeds of dogs.

Petr out of all the people I have done or tried to do business with has by far been my favirote person and dog person to deal with.

This is my female Grejs or as I call her Grace, she is a very serious working dog that is totally stable and trustworthy around my wife and 4 kids, my kids range in ages from 4 years old to 12 years old. She has excellent prey drive and is a perfect tracking dog, and when working is fearless with full bites.

I will be keeping at least 3 pups for myself to work and evaluate for myself, depending on litter size.

Right now Petr and myself are not in the middle of a business deal, so keep in mind that we still communicate on a daily basis and he is not in it just to get your money, he is in it for the dogs and the people who love these dogs. I think all of his prices are very fair especially for the quality of dog you can get from or through him. You will get exactly what he says you are getting! very good honest person.

you can always contact K-9 specialist about what you stated here. If indeed the dogs are not supposes to be sold through him or he has no right to these dogs, he will remove them from his list. He sells dogs that are offered through him. He migh not have the knowlege of the dogs belonging to somebody else.

Hello everybody!
My name is Petr Spurny and I'm the owner of K-9 Specialists,LLC. I was jus notified that someone is trying to put a bad name on me, so if you have a minute, please read this. Thank you in advance. First at all, I don't even know "Czechslovakdogs" guy and never done business with them (either in good nore bad way), so the only explanation to their "anger" is competion?!
For everybody who does not judge people based upon some rumors ( and for those who spread it as well), there is our physical address under each add, and if you go to our web site ( http://www.k-9specialists.com), you will find out all about us. Last, EVERYONE is welcome to come out and see how we work our dogs,etc. (our training fascility is approx.10 acres)
To bring speculations straight, yes, we have other people's dogs offered through us and that is for one reason: There's a lot of scam out there, and simply a lot of people are afraid to send money overseas not knowing the seller and because we both (me and my wife) were born there and KNOW KENNEL OWNERS PERSONALLY, we proudly offer their dogs with FULL GUARRANTIES just like on our own dogs (plenty of positive refferences for Mr. Chechslovakdogs ,etc.). We are fuly aware of these dogs quality and stand behind it!
So, for you who's trying to get your self publicity, please leave us alone or come out and investigate it before you start bitching about us! We do our job with proud and passion and I hightly doubt, that if we were so bad, the N.J.P.D., high ranking guy from USA (United Schutzhung Clubs of America), longest living quadriplegic women ( in Guiness book of record) from Florida, etc., would buy a dog from us and would be proud of it!!

Nice looking female Tom.  I not an Anrebri person but they have pretty looking dogs.
Lots of fast normals int her PED though on both sides.

WOW    WOW    WOW. For someone who regualary uses this site to advertise for FREE, after that response I would be passing on a dog. I agree withAce952 that the dogs are very pricey. Those of us who have been in dogs a long time would buy direct from the breeder.

Just so you know Mr. Spurny that response didn't do much to advertise your kennel!

I contacted them about training my dog and they seemed very nice. However I too had difficulty contacting them. I wanted to have my dog PPD trained by them and after a seemingly lack of interest on their part i went elsewhere. Perhaps it was because I was not willing to drop the dog off and leave it but handle it myself while he performed helper work. I am sure the dogs sold are of fine quality. For me it was just a matter of them not showing interest in wanting to work my dog and difficulty having them return calls to let me know one way or another. Found an excellent trainer for 1,000.00 less. I wish them the best they seem like very nice people with excellent dogs.

I have personally dealt with Petr, and was VERY satisifed with his honesty and our transaction. So much so, that when I found a second dog I liked, I requested Petr to be the 'go-between', as I felt safe dealing with Petr and having him handle the transaction. Petr was NOT the party listing this animal (the breeder was), so he really had nothing to gain by handling the transaction. He did this for me because I believe he IS a good person, and he is willing to assist his previous clients, and not just for personal gain. I currently am not in the market for another dog, but still keep in touch with him, about once a week. I would have no reservations having Petr and Katarina train my dogs, if we were located close enough for me to visit and observe, but Colorado is a bit far to drive from Ohio. 

My personal opinion is that if you need a trainer, initial handling should be done by the trainer. The dog does not know what is expected of it, so the person handling the dog should. If you need a trainer, then you probably are not sure what to do either. The dog would need someone who exhibits confidence, and is not hesitant or waiting for further instruction. If all you need is a helper, maybe a SCH club would be a better option, as well as more economical.

As for price, well, I have seen a LOT of animals advertised here on database located in the US, bred in the US for the same (or higher) price as what I paid for my imports. All of similar quality. I am not bashing  US breeders, or saying they are over-priced. It is simply a matter of finding what you want, for the price you are willing to pay, no matter the country of origin. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of quality for the price.

I am sorry that people would automatically question a person's integrity just because a phone call was not responded to fast enough. Even people who advertise dogs and/or services have a life, and maybe, just maybe they like to live it once in awhile. Petr has never failed to return my call, but sometimes it takes a few days. As far as e-mail is concerned, I have not had a problem contacting him in the past via e-mail, but I do know that he had some issues with his site provider, so maybe that was the problem.

Bhaugh:  I am sure that 'Those of us who have been in dogs a long time would buy direct from the breeder' is very true. But there are more of us out there who have not. , I did not feel comfortable dealing with over-seas breeders, and running the risk of losing my money and having no legal recourse like I would dealing with someone located in the US. Thanks to Petr, I was able to feel comfortable with the transaction. Not only that, he has introduced me to the breeders, so I can now deal direct if needed.
