Hi Sabin22,
you DON'T have to answer the question!
It is perfectly obvious that Dog1 and Videx know perfectly well how it all works. They just can't admit it happens!
(And they are just poking you to get to know who you are.)
They, at one point in time, were up to their necks in this sh**, and just played along.
They KNOW that in the SV Sieger Show nothing goes without the help of befriended judges.
The judges and their friends from the big kennels will take it all away again.
But soon enough, they will be alone in the stadium to applaud themselves.
Take care Sabin!

Typical of Jantie - he decides his opinion, then uses his imagination to make up many facts to support it. He treads on very dangerous ground. One day he will have more demons to face other than the tragic case of Indiana, but these WILL be of his own making.
Anyone that knows me, or reads my website articles, will know I never hesitate to challenge ANY authority, canine or otherwise, WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR.
Jantie has very serious flaws in his character which manifests itself in many of his largely twisted comments. What he doesn't know he will readily assume, and he is satisfied taking in the fools, which sadly there are far too many.

I'd just like to see Jantie be able to justify some of their claims. Just once would be nice. It appears they hear gossip and just repeat it as they never can actually discuss what they write. The response to this thread is another in a long line of examples.
Take the original comment. Here is the list of top 5 places; "The listing demonstrates who are the big breeders and their close contacts,"
So how do the results show what you say they show? Help me out, give me examples, show me patterns, show me the list you claim exists. No smoke and mirrors here, just show me something to substantiate what you say exists from what you say subtantiates it.
I know who sabin22 is. It's not hard to figure that out. When you post your website on pedigreedatabase it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who you are. Why try to flush out information you already know? Sabin22 has been around dogs a long time. Undoubtably they have seen and were aware of many of the SV issues over the years as many others have. Maybe they have something they can share that makes sense.

I do believe that some of the main places in the Sieger are already more or less worked out, barring any unforeseen circumstances at the show itself. But I think that this is something that has been considered very carefully by the judges based on the dogs performances throughout the year, and which bloodlines it seems convenient to promote, ie what is most needed in the breed, rather than due to connections and corruption, at least for the most part.

sabin22: is "zwinger vom aspeneck" - thanks Dog1, so easy, took a few minutes.

oso,
Absolutely.
If you think the top 10 positions are decided last minute the day of the show. You don't understand the show. If that were the case, you wouldn't need to show your dog. You wouldn't need to take it to multiple judges throughout the season. You wouldn't need to prove the dog is a highly rated dog under multiple judges. You could just show up the day of the show and get a big trophy.
The SV has implemented a system of checks and balances over the years. The days when a dog went to one judge 10 times and made 10 first places and took those results to the sieger show for a top place are gone. You can see that judges consider the results of a dog under other judges, just read the critiques in the Urma book. You'll see comments where a judge at the sieger show places a dog based on his opinion of the dog and the opinion of other judges.
Here's what you can do with the list of the top 5 placings from the results across Germany. You can look for patterns. Look for a dog that places high under multiple judges and you can bet it's got a good shot at placing high at the sieger show. Look for a dog that places middle pack under multiple judges and high under one particular judge, and there may be a problem. Look for a dog shown only under one judge, there may be a problem. Look at the fathers of the top 5 and you can pick your sieger. I can do a lot wthe results. They are a wealth of information for those that take the time to look at them. The one thing I can't do is look at them and see a demonstration of; 'the big breeders and their close contacts.'

Amendment:
Here's what you CAN do with the list of the top 5 placings from the results across Germany.
You can look for patterns.
Look for a dog that places high under multiple judges (particular judges) and you can bet it's got a good shot at placing high at the sieger show.
Look for the (real!) ownerS of the dog , and check if one of them is a judge, a judge's wife, or any family member or good friend/colleague big breeder. Make sure to find out! The paper work might only show the keeper of the dog, when in fact, behind him, the dog is owned by a judge! You do know that it is common practice to "share" the dog with an important man/judge don't you? (Check my weblog for chart with the big shots calling the deals.)
Find out who is promoting the dog at the Landesgruppenzuchtschauen. Is it by any chance Dirk Wortmann or one of the Niedergassels? Is it Verpelli, Kartheiser, Weber or Uwe Sprenger? Or is it an asian little woman calling the dog in the ring? Then it might just be another coup d' état of Reinhardt Meyer and Josephine Kao! She is a dogbroker coming to get promessing dogs in Germany for our wealthy Chinese GSD-friends. And their careers often enough are "made" by the judges (to raise prices for instance).
Check the history of the Big Business, all of the results of the last 40 years or so, and talk to the hobbybreeders! When you have spoken to each and everyone of them, that's the time you will finally be convinced it is all about relationships and contacts. The longtime hobbybreeders all define it as "a maffia" (the mob) and many of them are sick to their stomachs. Talk to Willi Gruber, a longtime SV-judge who was NOT prepared to play along and finally left the SV after 32 years, he will open your eyes!
Check Jantie's weblog for further knowledge. Read the story of Toni von der Rieser Perle (a story showing exactly how it all works and how much money the judges put in their pockets), and incidently the story of his litterbrother Tell (showing that a ruined elbow doesn't prevent people from using a dog as a stud dog). Parties involved are confronting each other in court.
They are a wealth of information for those that take the time to look at them.
The one thing you must do is listen to the insiders who know it's all a demonstration of: 'the big breeders and their close contacts.'
But we are bringing them down on their knees. One at a time! (Rome wasn't built in a day.)
Kind regards, and... see you in Nürnberg (look out for T-shirts: www.bloggen.be/hd) or in court. A lot of court cases pending nowadays, and it's a small world anyway!
I wish everyone a healthy GSD!
If you had any bad experience, write me and tell me all about it!

So we establish your information is all from talking to others. None of it is your own and there's some rambling about some other stuff thrown in. Some is well known, other we can agree and disagree in perhaps another topic.
Is there any way possible to get you to stay on topic and substantiate anything you say about the results from shows in Germany?

It is known as "Jantie waffle & speculation" born out of jealousy and a strong desire to be noticed. He has absolutely NOTHING to offer our breed. Like-minded gather around him because they are also inadequate and foolish.
