swollen teat on dam - Page 2

We have definitely run the gammet on this litter. I've gotten lots of experience in what can go wrong. My vet saw Syd and she doesn't have mastitis. Just a clogged nipple. We've been using warm compresses and she is expressing some milk from that teat now and the swelling seems to be abating. She has not had a temp, the pups are nursing and sleeping well, gaining an appropriate amount of weight. They look fat and happy. No, this litter is not straight from a Disney movie but I have learned more than any book could teach me. Thank you to all for input, opinions, etc.You've all been invaluable to continuing my education of this humbling endeavor.
