yep yep sita you can have DDR ansestery but in all your dog is GERMAN hahaha just plain GERMAN no cardinal there is no such thing as a pure sorry to say. but alot of breeders claim that their dogs are pure ddr because they are belidgerent and want to sell you something they think they have. now if they say there is DDR in their lines sure as heck that can be a possability but its far back in the lines. if you want to get technical my puppy on dads sides grandsire's side is DDR on grand dam west german on mom czech YAY but hes german/czech cross. sorry for the rudeness if it seems XD i have had a bad day ontop of worse :D

Well, there are a lot of ways to look at this.
Apparently, you want to go by where the dog was born-after all there is no East Germany any more.
Pharaoh's parents where born in united Germany, titled, breed surveyed and Pink Papered. Both of his parents come from 100% DDR ancestry.
Pharaoh's parents emigrated to the USA. So, that makes Pharaoh an American Dog. Forget DDR!!!!!! Pharaoh is American and proud of it.

I realized I was not clear - born in Germany = German Lines (no more DDR).
Thus, born in the USA = American lines.
So, you who are breeding German, Czech or Belgian descended dogs, for several generations or 1 generation, titled or not, born in the USA = American lines.
