Congratulations, I believe SG is the highest rating a junior dog can achieve.

I've always loved the Black GSDs. Very handsome dog.

I did get there too and saw some of the dogs show. It was VERY wet and under the circumstances I thought everyone did a fantastic job.

I went to the Topline Show yesterday, and I remember seeing this dog. A VERY NICE dog.
The Judge was a gentleman, ( A VERY NICE MAN) and he gave critiques on each and every dog. I liked the way he judged.
A little bit of rain here and there did not put a damper on the show. I stayed till the end, and the sun was out.
I want to congratulate all the owners of the dogs who showed, and for TOPLINE German Shepherd Dog Club of Illinois for doing such a good job.

Having been a breeder I know how hard it is when one of your best ends up in a pet home, never to see the light of day in the show ring, nor competition field.  Ikon is the absolute joy of my life, and I wish I was physically and financially able to get him the recognition that he deserves.  We had a number of people who saw him tell us that he could easily go "V" if he had a training degree... Everyone in Buffalo was wonderful... soggy yes... but wonderful.  My thanks to everyone for the attention that he got.  I've waited a long time to find a dog like him, sound as a rock, affectionate, stable in all situations, yet protective when needed.  He's everything a correct Shepherd should be! 

Dawn... not sure which dog  you saw @ Topline, but Buffalo is the only show we've had Ikon at.  Looks like we're going to have a LOT of soggy dog shows this year... lol

^{I was at the Topline Show this weekend and there was a black shepherd in the ring.  We were rained on vey little and perfect weather when my dog was in the ring. I, too, liked the judge and had commented how I wish they would give us a wriitten remarks. Great show and lots of beautiful dogs Had great time with all the GSD lovers.}

The young solid black female was in the 6-9 mo puppy class.
There were 7 puppies entered and all were awarded the VP rating.
The solid black female was awarded VP6.
Her name is:  Edge von Schraderhaus. She is owned by Melinda Clark of GildafK9s.

Windwalker.... Your dog is beautiful. My mistake!!  There were a few Black German Shepherds at the Topline Show.   I thought that your dog was at the Topline Show in Illinois.

It was Edge that I had the honor to meet and she loved the sleeves on my jean jacket!! GREAT attitude!
