Now correct me if im wrong but I have heard people say not to combine show lines with working lines.  It looks like there is some of that going on within his pedigree.  And it looks like it worked great.

Is it or is it not ok to combine working and show lines?

It's not so much a question of whether it's OK or not, but whether or not it works.  Most results aren't of any noticeable worth, but even if a good dog is produced, it is less likely to produce itself as consistently, because of the higher levels of heterosis which cause it to be less prepotent as a producer.

Interesting question. I would have to say my pick male to experiment with would be Kliff. Such a pedigree, such production for a limited time from a line of dogs we can now see excellent production.

Which female? Breed him to Live an Odin daughter in hopes of getting another great male from her if you want working ability. How about Feli? There's been no other female like her and probably never will be. Dasty maybe? Lots of exceptional dogs from her. How about Prixi, once a super producer. Sarah who produced two litters with both prodicing top specimens.
