LadyFrost

Handle every Stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
Pee on it and walk away.

Lady Frost, too funny

Whenever I doubt my self, I look into the eyes of one of my dogs and try to see myself as they do.  Then I bust butt to live up to their belief in me.  I also try to live as they do, living each breath fully....

That the neighbor's dog is named Marley and she thinks she lives here now.laugh

By allowing me to walk over the fields every night watching & interacting with 'Ol Nelson and clearing the mind. Hounds don't do anything for political reasons.

Could you imagine how people would talk if I went walking over the fields every day in the dark, cold & rain without a dog?

Gee, they have taught me so much over the years. One is trust your instincts - if a person makes you uncomfortable for some reason, go with it. Like others have said, PATIENCE...And just the joy in life- watching them explore when we take our morning walk around the property-it's the same space but each day is a new adventure. I think the biggest is that you always have the back of someone important to you - spouse, friend, family. I know my gang always has mine, whether it's a stranger, a coyote, or the vacuum...

Patience, unconditional love--we can always be happy to see each other and understand each others' feelings without a word being exchanged.  That I will not ever be alone or lonely.  They don't care how I look or that I gained another pound or that I can't walk too good or too fast.  I know of noone who can expect so little yet give so much.  And IMO no breed can do it the best like the GSD.
