I have a LC female who was the only one in her litter of 7. Very normal for only one or two in the litter to be Longcoat.

This is a silly way to tell, probably think I'm nuts,
but.....

Look at the roof of her mouth, if it's solid black all the way to the back then she's a purebred.

Could be BS, but I find most purebred GSD's have all black on the roof of their mouths!

The real test is if her ears come up,

please keep us updated on her,

have fun with her, she's beautiful!

That is a long coated GSD, and yes, you can have only 1 in a litter of stock coats.

I'll bet the people that gave her to the pet store to sell, didn't want to give papers
with her, cause it's a big no no, for reputable breeders to sell pups to a pet store.
They probably didn't want their name brought up.
They were probably looking to make a few bucks in a hurry.

I am curious...

How much did you pay for her?

Pet stores as you have been told are rip off artists...and they usually come out on the top side of the purchase.  If the Pet Store itself told you she was a cross I would believe them.  They usually try passing off Cross breds as the real deal.  If they come right out and tell you she is a cross...I would think that is a pretty good indicator they don't know her parents and are telling the truth...or they know the parents and are telling the truth.  If she were purebred she would be worth more...technically....so why do that if they don't need to.  She looks like a very cute coated GSD cross.  And this is a surprising turn of events.  I don't like pet stores at all...but yay for them for at least telling you what they did.  And not try and pass her off as a purebred...only to break your heart down the road.  Dna can give you some ideas...can't tell you who the parents are...but what breed she is for sure.

I belived the pet store when we bought her, and resect them for selling her as a cross - like u said, its better they done that instead of lieing about it!
We still use the vet which gave her the injections in the shop and hes said that they proberly didnt have the papers and if we never told him she wasnt full then he would never have known!

I have noticed that the roof of her mouth is black , not a 100% guide but it is black .

DNA is a option, think i will go that route soon enough!

We paid £150 for her which included all her injections

UPDATE: - I enquired with the store owner and shes emailed me back, Appently Lola's dad is Full GSD and her mum is 3/4 GSD possibly mixed with a staff, but she highly doubts thats correct dont know her reasons for thinking that way!
I think i will end up doing the DNA test just out of curiosity .

I love her just as she is, shes perfect
