Thanks guys! This helped a lot. I have never seen an actual 8 week old puppy..so that was my concern..if it could fit in the Sherpa bag. :)

I believe based on the price I paid it was a large, it is called "Deluxe pet carrier by Sherpa"

When I flew my cat, the flight attendants let me take her out & hold her. One of them said, "If Sza-Sza Gabor can hold her pup on her lap in first class, you can hold your kitty back here!" So, it happens! Good luck! jackie harris
