Linedancer, if you are not interested in what comes from certain people dont respond. Everyone is entitled to opionions just get trapped an argument over them. Everyone is correct on their views. Enjoy your dog.

Who mentioned Hump? lol. Naughty naughty, lol. Linedancer speaking of crap........ Is the Canadian Shepherd's stifle supposed to be 1 inch from the ground? Is the second thigh supposed to be soooooo long? Is the Dobermann poker straight front, swan neck and excessive ski slope back standard for the Canadian Shepherd?. Where could I get a copy of the full standard for the Canadian Shepherd, would genuinely like to see it.
Sunsilver, I think I "jumped all over you", your words not mine, for your UGLY DOG FILE, as did many. Although this dog and the rest from that kennel just might be candidates for your special file, lol. Did I hit a nerve, you being Canadian and all, didn't mean to offend but I thought the OP was inferring this was a GSD and now I see it is a Canadian Shepherd, silly me!!!

Bazza, you came down on me for what you saw as insults to other's dogs, which is EXACTLY what you have done to Linedancer, in a very personal way!
At least my Ugly Dog file was composed mainly of photos from ads on this database and the dogs were therefore mostly anonymous.
The North American style GSD has its faults, but it is what it is. I didn't see you going into Rik's recent thread about his American showline dogs and ripping HIS dogs apart!
Let's show a little common courtesy here!

Did you start this thread Bazza? No! Did you post the links? No!
I think posting pics / links, without permission then slating the dog is a vile habit... it's someones dog and hopefully, someone loves it... that means, it hurts when this kind of crap is inflicted. Post pics of your own dogs and see how you like it.

Sorry Sunsilver but you can't compare Rik to this. He knows the mistakes he made and no longer owns or breeds these dogs. He now owns and breeds the correct GSD, and I believe, HEALTH SCREENS WORKS and SHOWS his dogs. The dogs in your files taken from this site are far from anonymous, maybe to you as you are hardly " involved" with the breed to the extent of some of us. As this dog has come to the UK and this person's history is known by myeslf and many here in the UK, do you really think you are informed enough to comment? I do not think so, therefor I can only assume it is the dog and his kennel's country of origin that has put a bee in your bonnet. Common Courtesy? You mean like the common courtesy you show to all the owners of the dogs you find " ugly " for your sad collection? PRICELESS!! Believe me I am being courteous to this woman, and TRUTHFUL. Before you open your illinformed mouth check your facts, or maybe just this persons health screening records, and you with a dog with not to good hips, might then understand why the UK kennel club should ban this type of breeder!!! But as I have said very very few will be interested in stud work from this dog so that should limit the damage to the breed in the UK. Sad though for the few that will use, and believe the bull that the owner will spew!!
