Skye's leg has swollen to twice it's normal size.... i had a gut feeling that something was not right, so this morning we revisited the vets, and we were told this isn't constant with a torn acl, she also has a temperature.+++
? Could something else be going on... totally non acl related ... any bites....snakes, spiders, cats, varmits, recent vaccines or ???
The type of swelling and fever you mention do NOT sound like acl, or any joint problem to me..but I am not a vet and not with the dog.

Out of curiousity, did she happen to have gotten her rabies shot recently? And if so, was it given in the leg that's now swollen?
