Personally I wouldn't waste the money, unless you are just doing it for fun.  There is a reason those DNA places also want photos of the dog.

A friend sent in a DNA sample from her dog, which is known to be a GSD x Malinois.  And that's what it looks like.  She didn't send in pictures though.  Her dog came back as primarily Bernese Mountain dog, with a few other breeds mixed in.

Might be useful if you had a mix that was on a banned list for housing or something, to get DNA results saying the dog is something completely different, that you can use to keep the dog.  But otherwise I'd save my money.

If you look at the first 2 pictures, I don't wanna disappoint you but It has a lot of chihuahua, hahaha. As the puppy grew up then U can see some Mali features...Thats just my humble opinion..

Hello,

If you want to have a look at typical  purebred  Malinois you can visit this site :

http://www.lescompagnonsdutoitd.sitew.fr/#Accueil.A

I know the dogs there and I know the breeder and the dogs are top Malinois !  :)

and that is the way a Malinois should look.

Your little girl is beautiful! At first glance I thought she definitely was, but her weight is a little low for her age to be a Mal, but that doesnt mean she's not part Mal. Your best resource is your vet or a very smart trainer. I purchased an AKC German Shepherd and my vet took one look at her and called her a Mal, then my trainer broke the news to me. I contacted the breeder and he admitted that his AKC registered Mal K-9 service dog got to his GS. He didn't offer to refund my money, he just said I got a much better dog. I believe that I did, however that is not honest business practice from an officer of the law. I was not prepared for the powerhouse of energy I got, but she is amazing, smart and the sweetest girl ever. I already have a Jack Russell and know what a high energy dog is and I can give my Mal the training and exercise she needs. My point is, even if she has a tiny bit Mal, do your research and understand what kind of dog you have. They are super dogs with super high drive. Good luck :)
