Very happy looking girl!

She looks mostly GSD to me; I've seen a few "blond sables" that faded to a near-solid fawn with a mask. I've never put much stock in the DNA breed tests. I did one on a GSD of mine (progeny of a well-known bloodline), and it came with GSD, Husky, a few other random breeds. It was fun for novelty purposes, but I don't put a lot of stock in 'em.

I always love to hear of folks adopting from shelters, and like I said, she looks like a very happy, cheerful girl. Here's wishing you both many hapy years together ^_^

She looks like a really sweet girl!  How big is she?  I think she looks like a shepherd mostly.  I don't know, but depending on her size and mannerisms and where you're located, you may also want to look into Carolina Dogs, maybe she has some of that in the mix.

Again, thanks for all the responses everyone, you guys are awesome! About her size, she's a monster, lol. The last time she was at the vet, she was tipping the scales at almost 90lbs. She's a gentle giant.

She's so incredibly smart! I've seriously never had a dog this smart, lol. I've taught her tricks in under 10 minutes before. I'm not sure what else you guys want to know about her personality, like temperament and so on. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

And again, thanks so much for all your responses!  :)

She a very pretty girl and has such a soft, sweet expression :) Kudos to you for adopting her. Definitely looks like a lot of GSd in there, but you already knew that. In some pics of her head from the side she looks pure GSD. I am not sure what else she may have in her. I had a female GSD mix years ago that looked very much like her, but smaller. I didn't know what she was mixed with either. How tall is your girl? Did she weigh 90lbs in the above pics?

She's a purebred Cutie-Pie! And likely a lot of GSD in her, if she's real smart! Lots of GSDs have tawny color, & I can show you pictures of my girls making just that same smiley face for the camera! God bless you for rescueing her! May you have a long, happy life together! jackie harris
