I want a poll... How many of us have allowed they're dogs to be crated long enough they soiled the crate and how many have not.
me NOT
and I can tell you all in our club, NEVER show up with soiled crates, SO we are all dumbshi.. to you ?
I feel that we at Signature K-9 need to clear up a few things regarding this post. Over a month ago I recieved a call from this customer who wanted me to pay to have his car detailed because his dog had urinated in our crate and it got on his carpet. He said that he didn't know that the crate would not hold urine. I offered two solutions: 1) I told him that we could seal it so that it would not leak, or 2) he could send it back and recieve a full refund. But I did not feel like we should be responsible to pay to have his car detailed. He commented on how well built the crate was and said he really liked it aside from it not being leak proof. We have over 300 of these crates in use today by military, police and professional trainers and this is the first time we have heard this complaint.
I have used signture K9 in the past for a lot of different things. I have never had a problem with them or their products.
I think detailing the truck was a little too much - it was only the carpet
We have all had accients in crates let it be plastic or metal who cares why is everyone getting nasty
Never had a adult dog piss in it's crate. Not even when shipped from Europe. Have had poopy accident do to a sick dog, but never do my adults pee, even when left over 8 hrs at night. Saying Echo knows nothing, was out of line. Most healthy dogs can hold their urin quite a long time and do, to prevent laying in it. Most dogs don't want to wallow in their piss or feces. It's natural for them to want to be clean. Sounds like signature offered to do what they could to fix the problem. Maybe Egsd needs to potty walk their dog first, before loading up?
Hell Echo, I had a female that I swore WAITED till she could find an open crate to piss in!
LOL
She was a lot of fun on the road to distant US national events and to the BSZS one year...
Better still was when every single one of my dogs picked up something at the '97 USA Sieger Show in Bakersfield and I had projection diarhea all over the inside of my motorhome all night till the Immodium kicked in.
Talk about a LONG night! Yes... I did sleep in there, but not much, as I was up every 5 minutes breaking down crates to get them out the narrow door to wash, drying them as best I could with my bath towels, cleaning up dirty dogs, washing out my own clothes in the shower... No way I could go inside the host hotel for something to eat smelling like that. (read: no dinner)
***Garden hose, nozzle, Clorox cleaner, case of paper towels, Immodium tablets: DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM!
ROTFLMAO
So... what do you do with your dogs when you enter 6 - 12 dogs (few of whom get along) in events in distant locales? Rent them a 6 bedroom condo?
Although I've never purchased a crate from Signature K-9, I have bought many other items from them, and have always been very happy with what I bought and the service I received. I still use equipment I purchased from them five years ago. IMO, still a great company to deal with. I'd have no problem buying from them again.
Signature signature....
I never asked to have you pay for detail, cmon lets be honest now...I asked you how you wanted to deal with it, and your response was "even ray allens leak, its not my responsibility!! Which they dont because since then I bought 6. When your a business owner like myself you get a chance to rectify the situation at that split second. You said it was not your responsibility period and yes I could ship it back and get a refund minus shipping both ways...Great Idea, let me waste a little more money and time!! 4-pack you sound like your reading a dog book word for word, get some actual experience and come back in 10 years.
Most dogs will be very reluctant to soil their "den" or in this case their crate. Try using a smaller crate, or a crate divider so that they feel more contained. Dogs can hold it for quite a long time if they are inactive and comfortable providing they are not sick to their stomachs for any reason.
LOL your funny. Your worried about shipping cost when you bought 6 more crates? Sounds like your just trying to rub Signature the wrong way.
ProudPoppa, I already said as much and got my head ripped off. I don't think this guy wants any "help" he just wants to complain about faulty crates, when he is a faulty handler.
