I will go to the kennel to pick the puppy. But I want to ask for more suggestions before I arrive there. By the way, this is from the showline.Thank you very much for all your suggestions.

Ok, GSD expert, could you please give an example of your ideal puppy to illustrate why these are not good? If not, please shut up! Thanks a lot.

The expression of the 2nd pup is Excellent... they're both close on conformation... I'm a head freak... and the LOTE (Look o the Eagles) catches me on picture 2. His pigment is also a bit stronger.

Any time I see a puppy stacked, I know that is not a breeder I am going to get a pup from. I want to see the pups on a rag, or chasing a ball.

With all your negitive comments Jeff I thought you might be the one on the rag.
Can't you say anything nice about anything???????

Just on the cute factor, I like number 2. But I don't know squat and I am partial to females.

Milaso, in all honesty, both puppies are appealing to the eye in those pics.....I am sure you realize that when picking a show puppy, there is more to it than just picking the one that looks nice when stacked... At 6 wks old there is really not much to make a decision on..... What about movement and temperament? When I was looking at show prospect I would video pups at 6wks old and study their movement. The next week I'd video again and study again...and each wk after that until I decided. You would be surprised how much movement changes from week to week..... However the puppy that was most consistent was usually the one I would pick.....I understand that not everyone has the opportunity to video each week like that.....By the time the pups were 10-12 wks old at the youngest, is when I would decide....
If you are going to show your puppy in confirmation, try to get the breeder to send videos to you, or if possible, go there and do your own videoing...than you can study and have a better idea of what to decide on.....
You didn't mention what your intentions were with the pup you decide on.....
The bottom line is, since YOU, and no one else on this forum, is paying for this puppy, and you will be the one feeding and taking proper care of him, it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks......
Enjoy your handsome puppy which ever one that may be, and keep those of us who understand what you are trying to do, updated and post lots of pics....

Without negative there is no positive.
I am not good with the idea of choosing a GSD because it is cute. Not the point of the breed.
