Wow, I have always said I wished the brindle GSD had continued.  I love the brindle coloring.

Praying someone takes her, at least long enough to find her a home.

Sadly, I don't have very good news. No one would pull her, but someone contacted a GSD Rescue in Modesto about her. Hopefully, they will get her. Apparently, they didn't believe me when I said she was brindle and told the rescue she is sable.

Well, thanks for doing what you could. I guess sometimes we just have to face the face that there are more dogs than homes.

I just emailed them and the dog isn't dead yet. I am FULL. If anybody knows of a place where the dog can foster, please let me know.

I could take her, but I'm in PA.

Do you know any more about the dog itself?

age?
temperment?
where she was first picked up?
anything else?
Is she already spayed?
what shelter she is in with contact info?

More info.

who's boobs?

Not my boobs, which are not in a location one could see them over the dog's back....they'd be roughly at the pasterns.

Moons, I'll find all that info asap. But I do have to go to work in two hours. Hopefully, since the shelter is now alerted to the fact that a rescue is interested in her, they will give her a short reprieve.

As I said in my PM,
they will not adopt out the dog without being altered.
Whatever genetics are involved will be lost no matter what.

The politics of shelters and the animal rights groups are the reason I don't support them.

It's very sad and possibly a great loss.

Moons.

Updates?

I would love to see the DNA results on this dog.

What news if any does anyone have?
