Yes, H2O2 does the trick for blood, as I'm sure you know. I used rags anyway, nice soft old flannels, cleaned with bleach, & a clean carpet remant covered with an old clean sheet that I had planned on discarding anyway. All stuff I had no issues with tossing.
So sorry about your little twisty #10, even tho' you know it's for the best it still tugs at your heart, the little buggers are so sweet. Sweet dreams little Twisty.
