Hi Ken
No probs but it is my understanding that the Templepatrick branch of the GSA Ireland got the show in part because no other branch of the association wanted to take responsibility for the organising & running of the show . So there was 2 options ,no show (I,m sure the GSA wouldn,t let this happen) or it was to be held in the north . I would say to those complaining to join their local branch of the GSA & make changes or stop moaning & get on with it. Of course I stand to be corrected if I,m wrong . Good luck & I,ll see at the shows
Regards
Albert
PS
I,m not a member of the GSA , so I,m not speaking on anyones behalf (so I better say no more) but I,m prepared to travel wherever the show is held

I dont have any problem with the show being held in either the south or the north.....its called the irish sieger show and that is all that matters...the one thing we all share and have done for years together is the love of this breed...it has brought people from both sides of the border together for decades and strong friendships have been built up..... it would be a shame in my opinion if people boycott this premier event for childish and self serving reasons like this.....its our show and is recognised throughout the world,, please dont spoil it and cause us to be the subject of discussion on this database for all the wrong reasons.....we should be leading by example here guys and supporting this event....its time to move on and set the right example for all....
See you all at the show and good luck to everyone..

We are really hoping that we can get over to it, and be it South or North, we know it will be a great show - and the sort of show we all will be striving for in the future in the UK
Does anyone have the code or tele No for the special price overnight ferry to Belfast from Liverpool. I have been told that it can be gotten at a much reduced rate than we have been quoted.... but I dont know the "magic key" to getting that discount.
I am sure your entry would go up considerably if we can find the code to the reduced fare issue.
